TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

You must accept the following terms and conditions to enter the Heineken Silver Summer promotion at SkyCity Auckland, SkyCity Hamilton and SkyCity Queenstown (each a “SkyCity Venue”) to stand a chance to win a Prize (“Promotion”). 

The promoter of this Promotion is DB Breweries Limited, 1 Baird’s Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland 2025 (“Promoter”).  The Promoter can be contacted on 0800 102 337 free of charge from landlines within New Zealand.

Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. The Promotion commences at 12.01am on 15th September 2025 and continues until 11.59pm on 26th October 2025 (“Promotional Period”). No entries will be accepted outside the Promotional Period.
  2. The promotion is open to New Zealand residents only. Employees or contractors of the Promoter or SkyCity and any agency involved with this Promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.
  3. Participants must be aged 20 years of age or above.
  4. To participate in the Promotion, participants must purchase any Heineken product from a SkyCity Venue to receive an entry card which contains a unique code. Participants must complete the entry card by scanning the QR code which will take you to the official Heineken website to enter with the relevant details to be entered in the draw to win a Prize.
  5. Participants can enter the Prize draw no more than two (2) times per day provided that each entry is made with a separate entry card i.e. each entry is made using a new entry card with its individual unique code.

PRIZES:

  1. The prizes for the Promotion are:
    • One cash prize of $10,000 (“Cash Prize”); and
    • [925 instant prizes of Heineken branded keyrings, Heineken branded socks, and Heineken branded trucker caps (“Instant Prizes”), each a “Prize” and together the “Prizes”).
  2. Instant Prizes are redeemable from bar staff at the SkyCity Venue where the participant obtained their entry card.
  3. On Friday 1st November 2025 a draw for the Cash Prize (the “Draw”) will be conducted whereby the Promoter will randomly select one entry from all valid entries (the “Winner”).
  4. On Friday 1st November 2025 the Promoter will call the Winner using the contact details provided. The Promoter will attempt to call the Winner a maximum of two times. If the Promoter is unable to contact Winner, the Cash Prize is forfeited, and the Promoter may select another entrant.
  5. To claim the Cash Prize, the Winner must provide the Promoter with their email address, mobile phone number, and either a copy of their New Zealand drivers licence, their passport or HANZ (R18 Card) to show proof of age. If this information is not provided within two (2) days from the requested date, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize.
  6. The Winner will promptly provide the Promoter with all information requested for verification purposes (including but not limited to a valid ID and a copy of a valid deposit slip in the name of the Winner) for the purposes of transferring the Cash Prize to the Winner. Once the verification process has been completed to the satisfaction of the Promoter, the Cash Prize will be transferred to the Winner by bank transfer to the Winner’s verified personal bank account.
  7. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any failure or delay in delivering the Cash Prize but will provide all reasonable assistance where the Cash Prize is not received by the Winner.
  8. Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this Promotion will be liable to any person in any way in relation to this Promotion including, without limitation, any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) due to any changes to the activity schedule for any reason, including changes to the date, time, location, any death or personal injury howsoever suffered or sustained, the cancellation or postponement for any reason of any of the Prizes and the quality of goods or services supplied by any third party, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. These terms and conditions may be amended, and the Promotion terminated at any time by the Promoter.
  2. The Promoter’s decisions on all entry and promotion matters are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. All details and instructions form part of the terms and conditions of the promotion.
  4. Personal information provided in connection with this Promotion will be held in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (https://www.db.co.nz/terms-policies/privacy-policy/). Each participant has the right to access and correct their personal information. The Winner grants the Promoter permission to share their personal information with all third-party service providers appointed to provide the Prizes for the purpose of delivering the Prizes.
  5. By accepting the Cash Prize, the Winner grants the Promoter permission to collect and use their name, photograph, voice and film recordings in which they appear, in connection with the Promotion for marketing purposes relating to the Promotion and waives any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. This includes the right to use on the Promoter’s and SkyCity’s websites, Facebook pages, on air and other publications of the Promoter and SkyCity.
  6. Entries must be made by individual consumers. No entries from trade customers, agents, organised groups or other third parties will be accepted.  At the discretion of the Promoter, offenders may be prosecuted.
  7. The Promoter may refuse to award a Prize to any participant if, in the Promoter’s sole opinion, that participant has violated the terms and conditions of the Promotion or has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion.
  8. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected ; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a Prize.
