1. Who can enter the competition?

The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 or older who hold a valid South African passport. Employees of Heineken® Beverages, their immediate family members, and anyone who has won a prize in a Heineken® competition within the past three months are not eligible.
2. How long does the competition run?

The competition runs from 1 March 2025 to 31 May 2025. Entries for the VIP UEFA Champions League experience in Germany close on 13 April 2025.
3. What prizes can I win?
You stand a chance to win:
- 1 of 23 VIP UEFA Champions League experiences in Germany, including flights, accommodation, airport transfers, and game day experience.
- 1 of 25 double tickets to the Heineken® House x UEFA Champions League Finals viewing experience in Gauteng. (Travel and accommodation not included)Heineken® x UEFA Champions League branded merchandise.

4. How do I enter?
Purchase any pack of Heineken® from a participating store and either:
- Scan the QR code on the Point of Sale promotional placements
- Dial *120*1873# and follow the prompts
For a better chance to win the VIP UEFA Champions League experience in Germany, entrants are encouraged to participate in real hardcore fan challenges on Goal.com and/or send content to the Heineken® WhatsApp number to share all the different things that make them real hardcore fans.

From 14 April 2025 onwards, instant prizes can be won by redeeming a scratch card in-store, scanning the QR code, or dialling *120*1873#

6. How are winners selected?
Winners will be chosen via a random draw from all valid entries. All winners will be contacted directly.

The selection dates are:
- 14 - 25 April 2025 – UEFA Champions League experience winners.
- From 1 March to 31 May 2025 - DStv Stream package winners (while stocks last).
- 09 - 31 May 2025 – Heineken® House viewing experience
- 14 April – 31 May 2025 – Merchandise winners.
7. How will I receive my prize?
- UEFA Champions League Finals x Heineken® House tickets: Winners will be contacted by phone.
- Heineken® x UEFA Champions League Branded Merchandise: Winners will collect their prizes in-store.
- DStv Stream & 1GB Data Package: Winners will receive a link via WhatsApp for a 60-day viewing experience.
8. What happens if I don’t claim my prize?

If winners do not claim their prize by 25 April 2025 (UEFA Champions League Finals experience) or 31 May 2025 (Heineken® House viewing experience), the prize will be forfeited.
9. Will my name be shared publicly if I win?

Yes. Heineken® may use winners' names and photos for promotional purposes. However, you may request to remain anonymous.

Can I enter if I don’t have a passport?

Yes. You can still stand a chance to win Heineken® House Viewing Party tickets as well as branded merchandise items. If you want to win the UEFA Champions League VIP experience, you’ll need a valid passport to travel.
Do I need to keep my till slip as proof of purchase?

No. But make sure to enter with a valid code from the pack.
Can I enter multiple times if I buy more than one pack?

Yes. Every qualifying purchase gives you another chance to win.
Does buying a single Heineken bottle/can or ordering a draught count toward gaining competition entry? Or do I need to buy a full pack?

This depends on where you purchase your favourite Heineken®. You can buy a Heineken® pack with a competition entry code or order a draught at participating lifestyle establishments. If ordering a draught, enquire at the bar to receive your valid entry code.
Can I enter if I don’t have WhatsApp?

Dial *120*1873# from your phone and follow the prompts to learn more.
What happens if I accidentally enter the wrong details when dialling *120*1873#?

You can try again with the correct details.
Can I enter if I don’t drink alcohol but buy Heineken® for someone else?

Yes. As long as you are 18+ and enter with a valid code.

When will the winners be announced?

Once the competition entry dates close, the winners will be contacted directly. Stay tuned!
How will I know if I won?

You’ll receive an official call or message from Heineken® or the outlet from which you have purchased your Heineken®.
Do I have to pay anything to claim my prize?

No. Winners don’t have to pay for their prize. Be cautious of scams!
Can I choose who I take with me to Heineken House if I win the UEFA Champions League VIP experience?

Yes. But they must be 18+.
What happens if I win and don’t have a passport by the 25th of April?

Unfortunately, if you can’t travel, the prize will be forfeited.
Can I exchange my prize for cash?

No. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
If I win the Heineken® House tickets but don’t live in Gauteng, will Heineken® pay for my travel?

No. This prize does not include transport or accommodation. Winners need to arrange their own.
How do I get my DStv Stream & data prize?

You’ll receive a code/link via WhatsApp to redeem your prize.
Will the data expire, or can I use it anytime?

Data is valid for a limited time. Check your network provider and the prize details for confirmation.
Can I transfer my DStv Stream prize to someone else?

No. The prize is linked to the number and email address you entered when confirming your details. (This does not apply to previous or current DStv accounts.)

What is the real hardcore fan challenge, and how do I enter?

During the campaign, there will be several opportunities to showcase that you are a real hardcore fan. This will be in the form of challenges that require you to perform specific tasks, including, but not limited to,

i) Sharing pictures or videos of yourself wearing your favourite UEFA Champions League team jerseys

ii) Sharing stories of how far you’ve gone to watch a UEFA Champions League match

iii) Showcasing your favourite space/place to watch the UEFA Champions League

iv) Sharing pictures or videos of yourself and your friends enjoying a match together

Where can I find the competition’s QR code?

It’s printed on the Point of Sale elements in-store. Look out for Heineken branding when you are shopping, and there will be a QR code.
Where can I find the code to enter on WhatsApp?

This depends on the product you purchase or the scratch card you receive at the store. If you buy a can, the code will be on the tab. If you buy a bottle, open your Heineken®, turn the cap over and look for the unique code under the cap. If you have a card, scratch the panel to reveal the code.
How do I know if my entry was successful?

You’ll receive a confirmation message. If not, re-enter the code and try again.
What happens if I lose my scratch card?

Unfortunately, lost scratch cards can’t be replaced.
What should I do if I don’t receive my WhatsApp link for the DStv prize?

Check your messages and internet connection, then retry.
Can I enter if I live outside of South Africa but have an SA passport?

No. The competition is only open to residents of South Africa.
