Welcome to Heineken The Boring Mode (“The App”). The App is owned and operated by Heineken International B.V. ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Introduction
The App is designed to help manage and reduce interruptions by blocking notifications from other apps on your device while it is in use. Functionality may vary depending on the device and operating system. By accessing and using the App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and acknowledge you have read our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility
You must be of legal age to use the App. Upon first opening the App, an age-gate will prompt you to enter your date of birth to verify your age. This information is not stored or saved and is immediately discarded after verification. By using the App, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and meet all eligibility requirements.

3. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, The Heineken Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

4. Restrictions on Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products, or services obtained from the App. You also agree not to use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or in any way that violates any applicable law.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App and its features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Heineken Company disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Heineken Company is not responsible for any malfunction, damage, or loss of data on your device resulting from the use, misuse, or malfunction of the App.

6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Heineken Company, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your wrongful access to or abuse of the App.

7. Blocking Access to Other Apps
You acknowledge and agree that the App may block access to other apps or to notifications on your mobile device and connected devices while it is in use. The Heineken Company shall not be responsible or liable for any issues, damages, or liabilities that may arise from the App's blocking of access to such other apps or to notifications.

8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights to the App and Heineken are owned by Heineken Brouwerijen B.V., a company affiliated to Heineken.2. You agree that you are permitted to use the App as set out in these Terms and that all other use of the App is prohibited without the express written consent of Heineken.

9. Analytics
The App will be integrated with the default setup of Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to obtain necessary information that helps with identifying the cause of an app crash. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may collect the following: - User activity in the App without any personally identifiable information; - Coarse location data; - Firebase generated User ID that is internally formed from the Firebase version, the store that is used to install the app and the device metadata (OS version, name, model, brand)

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Amsterdam.

11. Privacy and Data Protection
The Heineken Company respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. We comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We use, store, and process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Updates and Modifications
The Heineken Company reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App or these Terms at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms and any other policies at any time, and the updated version will be available on our website.
